meet the team
The Company
Brett started Two Stage Cutting Formes Limited in August 1985 in a small factory in Newmarket.
The business has built on quality, service, being customer friendly and the staff having an extensive knowledge of the industry. Brett believes it has been the advent of computerisation and the internet that has had the largest impact on the business. It has meant he can receive designs from all over the country and overseas via email.
The Staff
The business operates successfully thanks to the experience of the Tradesman on the floor and the wide range of industry knowledge within the company. Brett Martin has been in the industry for over 30 years. Peter Johnson has been with Two Stage since 1989. Peter's knowledge of customer's wishes and his experience across the field of all printing and packaging is invaluable.
Brett and Peter have gone through all the changes of modern technology and still retain all their skill and knowledge of the past. This enables them to best advise all their clients on the method, procedure and production for their cutting forme needs.
Cathy Barnett joined the firm in 2004 and fulfills many tasks including sales and production coordinator. She is also responsible for the estimating of our dieformes.

Sample Making
The company makes samples for packaging companies so they can be shown to clients for approval. Any changes to the die can be made before the job has been printed. Brett will change the creasing and make other subtle alterations so the job is as close to the original design as possible.
Reruling Service
The company also offers a reruling service where the original die is refurbished with new knives. It can be cost effective to keep the same design and put new ones in.

The company offers a pick up and delivery service.
